Hi!
The prompt on the Glo/NaPoWriMo site said:
“Today, I’d like to challenge you to write an abecedarian poem – a poem in which the word choice follows the words/order of the alphabet. You could write a very strict abecedarian poem, in which there are twenty-six words in alphabetical order, or you could write one in which each line begins with a word that follows the order of the alphabet”
I wrote a nonsense poem, then got very tired while trying to write something ‘better’ and didn’t post my ramblings before I went to bed. I had the idea that I would write something this morning instead, but I have not finished anything, and I actually quite like my nonsense poem – so I’ll backdate this post to yesterday (cos I did construct my poem then) and move on to the prompt for the 20th…
It has a nod to Easter, and I am intrigued about why the action at the end was necessary 😉

(The WordPress editor seems to be playing up today, so please excuse all the weird font-changes/sizes in this post!)
I’ll be back later with the next instalment of my take on Global/National Poetry Writing Month!
