Day 6 of Inktober dawned, and my prompt was “husky”.
I went with the ‘big and strong’ definition instead of the doggy one:
Now I’ve uploaded this, I see how patchy the painting is…that’s what I get for watching Monk at the same time…
As I mention at the start of October, the boys have got me reading them Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson series. We are now on Percy Jackson and the Sea Monsters and it has a baby cyclops in it, so it was a no brainer when I finally got the boys to bed and was thinking of what to draw!
I didn’t use a pencil sketch first, but here is my unpainted version:
I have already started the pencil sketch for Day 7’s prompt of “enchanted”, so I’m off to get back to that…there is going to be lots to ink!
