Critical

Mental Health, Random poetry Add comments

Hello 🙂

Hope you all are doing ok, I’ve had an exhausting day with the kidlets, so I am just going to leave this here :

Critical  Contestant  Parcel  Exclusive  Cola  Paradise  Robbery  Artist  Clean

She had decided that it was critical

The contestant say a certain word,

Or she couldn’t open her parcel.

She sat, glued to the screen,

Using her own exclusive strain of telepathy:

“Cola, Cola, Cola!!” she chanted.

There was paradise inside the box,

And not getting to peek inside

Felt like ridiculously cruel robbery –

But that pixelated person

Would not name the brand!

She screamed once more, but was ignored.

Unwittingly, the gameshow host

Introduced another round,

And that former contestant

Had lost.

As he walked off-screen

He would never know:

He’d been the artist of a clean break

In the sanity of a woman

Perched next to a still-sealed cube.
